This kind of mental illness is why my parents and their conservative peers built their own schools and isolated us back in the 90’s. My cousin is also homeschooling my niece. He’s enrolling her in a online Christian school his friend just opened.

I can appreciate his situation. Gotta be tough thinking you're trapped in a body that isn't yours.. Public schools can do what they want, so ultimately, so can the parents.
