I don’t see what muting hate speech has to do with choosing ignorance 🤷♂️
It’s more likely the people on the receiving end of such shit are least ignorant and just want to not deal with it again.
I’m a white male who never has to deal with bs other people must put up with.
Even if they are perfectly capable of muting assholes, you still have to hear it first - and why, when you don’t have to?
I simply like mute. It’s in my control and I like that. I read/listen first then mute later. I am my own algorithm if that makes sense?
