Working through the chaincode labs #boss program. Still behind, but worth the grind.

I could not do this without AI help. GitHub Copilot has been super helpful. It can make changes on request, and autocompletes many things correctly.

Plus you can open a chat with it. Select some lines and ask a question. Itโ€™s like pair-programming with an articulate subject matter expert.

Prior to this, I had had no need for AI help programming, because I was working with libraries and languages with which I was already intimately familiar (TypeScript/sass). First time where access to these tools is make-or-break. #Bitcoin

Nice. Iโ€™ll checkout that program. Have you done the nostr:npub1vmpf90hq56wzyxht6teg3llpa74rzcepw9suj5unxl3tph24zd4qgtxhm7 ones too?

No, hadnโ€™t heard of it ๐Ÿ‘€

That class is awesome too although not free. Lisa is such a great teacher and a bad ass in general ๐Ÿค˜

That is awesome!

That class kicked my ass last year - I was not ready ๐Ÿ˜‚

Currently getting my ass kicked here sir ๐Ÿซก

How skilled does one need to be for that? Seems intimidating to me

Not sure how to answer. Iโ€™m a software engineer with 20+ years of experience, but Iโ€™ve never programmed in Rust, and I have only a passing familiarity with low-level Bitcoin details. So for me anyway, itโ€™s been very hard.

Oh, didnโ€™t know you had so much experience! Iโ€™ll take that as a yes, it requires a level of ability I correctly assumed was out of my reach ๐Ÿ˜”

Best of luck to you ๐Ÿซก

Are you done with the challenges?
