Is there any plan for "reposting" or cloning of notes? Boost is wonderful for engagement but doesn't allow for the creation of a new discussion. It only allows users to comment on the original note. If I want to share this Alan Watts quote, I would have to quote the note or boost it. Why not repost? Reposting is what keeps Reddit alive and there is no karmic incentive here. However there is the consideration of stealing content for zaps but I am not sure that is hindered by a lack of a repost feature. I could just as easily plagiarize the note but it would make sense for this feature to be native to a social media censorship-resistant network.
I feel bad for all of the tagging so I may submit this request on GitHub eventually. I feel like it must have been discussed somewhere.
I think you are asking for the Fork feature. Is it to just copy the text and post like your own? That's what fork does.
