Seems to bI was a bit miffed when trying to play music using the Plex Android app and discovered that without a Plex Pass you can only listen to one minute of audio, (they do the same with video but it's not limited on the browser or Android TV so I'm OK with that).

Then I discovered Plexamp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.plex.labs.plexamp

And I have been very impressed so far. You don't need a Plex Pass subscription and it gives you access to all your home network-stored music/audio.

Pretty funky interface too, a lot of good work seems to have gone into the UI. Has lots of good functionality too.
