Why yes, yes we are

It's really noticeable.

I drove an auto for the first time in years a while back, felt really uncomfortable. A fairly recent model, and Everything was automated. I just didn’t trust it at all.

Same. Drove an automatic this week and it creeped me out. 😂

Stickshift drivers with automatic are better drivers.

I'm two months into learning how to drive. I chose to learn manual rather than automatic. NGL it's hectic.....goats, dogs, crazy drunks, bikes, no rules, hand carts, no pavements so pedestrians share the road.

I'm told the police, who are the ones who conduct the tests, have a quota of only 20% who can pass each day (reapply pay the fee😉).

Some days I doubt what I've got myself into.

What country? If you don’t mind

I'll just say it's in Africa. I didn't mean my comments as a slight on the country, it's just how it is. I'm in my mid fifties and I've lived a life on the chaos of public transport so I think it's about time to give my back a break and save some time. Just going for a 45 minute lesson 12 kms away involves a minimum of five hours travelling there and back!

I will not give up on becoming a stickshift driver. 😅

With no doubt!

Miss my 5 speed MK4 Jetta TDI. I could drive that car so well. We were one.

Hot take. But checks out.

Becoming old school now.

Except for BMW drivers obviously.
