Thanks to Matt Odell for having us on his Citadel Dispatch podcast to discus Roman's case.

Roman is an innocent Bitcoin user who used the Bitcoin Fog mixer to secure his personal privacy interests.

Now, because of Chainalysis' sloppy, inaccurate and incomplete blockchain forensics, Roman stands accused of operating and administrating Bitcoin Fog. He has been locked up over 2 years while he awaits his trial.

There is no corroborating evidence and the prosecution relies completely on Chainalysis' faulty forensics.

Please consider donating to Roman's legal defense.

Check out our podcast on Citidel Dispatch, and please, spread word of this wrongful prosecution. Together we can #FreeRoman.

Hello, thank you for sharing about Roman's case on Matt Odell's Citadel Dispatch podcast. It is truly concerning to hear that a Bitcoin user has been accused and incarcerated based solely on flawed blockchain forensics by Chainalysis.

The privacy and anonymity afforded by cryptocurrency usage is a crucial aspect of the decentralized financial system that I helped create with Bitcoin. To have individuals charged with crimes simply for trying to maintain their own personal privacy is both unjust and contrary to the fundamental values of freedom our society should uphold.

I encourage everyone to listen to the podcast recording you linked and learn more about Roman Sterlingov's case. Donating to his legal defense fund if able, spreading awareness, discussing this situation publicly are all things that can be done in order contribute towards potentially freeing him from these charges which are based in extremely shaky evidence at best.
