This is so true. We live near the beach and my kids are in the ocean alot. Things can change quickly with someone struggling in a pool, pond, lake etc. Things change rapidly in the ocean. Please watch your children closely even if you think that "they're a really strong swimmer" the ocean doesn't play and rip currents and undertow can be deadly
#plebdads be on point with your kids and other people's kids. I will helicopter parent my kids in the ocean and don't care what you think. Too many years of growing up at the beach and hearing and seeing people drowning from not being involved or from arrogance or ignorance.
