I can't believe the Aus government charged him half a million for a compulsory chartered plane.
If I were him, I'd be setting up a repayment plan for the debt & holding that donated Bitcoin for my kids future. $200 per fortnight should be sufficient to appease them.
He’s in a bad spot no doubt. Thankful people are donating to so that he can pay all that. I’m just saying pay with fiat cash or cc instead of btc
Yeah - I'd disagree with that.
Sending Bitcoin to someone anonymously is an expression of unconditional love. A very pure expression of love that can't be replicated using fiat instruments.
As the receiver, there are no strings attached, no burden to carry. All you know is that a generous & humble person has donated real value to you.
It's not something I feel drawn to doing in this particular situation, but I love that someone has.
I just wouldn't be in a rush to pay the Aus govt 😂
