A huge number of #Bitcoin transactions right now with OP_RETURN... Does anyone know what they are doing? Something similar to ordinals?

See as an example transactions in block 855,544

Runes

Ah... Oh 😒

Someone called it paper stuffing for the package.

I hate a big box for a small product stufft with crap.

Yeah, a lot of fluff and no substance...

At least they aren't taking a whole block for a fucking rap song or whatever this shit was.

I'm ok with timestamping stuff. But please optimize 👃

3.99mb... 😳

Inscriptions are bad. You should not store images or files on the block chain. References are OK, if put in an OP_RETURN, which can be pruned.

Runes do the OP_RETURN method. They are actually OK when not combined with asinine ordinal-incriptions, and if they stick to OP_RETURN.
