Dumped ocean.xyz after a day b/c:

👎 Not running #Bitcoin Core 🚨

👎 Electing self as gatekeeper (Knots censorship)

👎 Custodial payouts, like all other pools

👎 #Bitcoin address reuse hurts privacy

👎 No plans for freeing source

Will reevaluate in 2024. 🤷‍♂️

I've been trying to find out what they're using for block building. do you know if they're using stock knots, or a proprietary set of patches?

Stock Knots. Initially v23 (that's why some spam creeped in), now should be updated to v25. Knots is 100% FLOSS. No proprietary patches.
