Fish gave me a bonsai starter kit. From memory, only one didn't sprout, I just can't remember which one. I had them for about three months before I had to move. They all required kinda the same care so it was easy to put them all on this tray and move them around as needed.

Elm and mimosa are both super easy to keep happy, ime. Oak is just determined to be huge so we'll see. So far, a year in, cedar has just been happy af left alone, but I dug that one up so I don't know how easy germinating them would be.
