We’re used to thinking of #BTC as money and as its value increases it’s attracting the attention of politicians and bankers who want to control it.
But what if we declare #BTC a messaging protocol? In that context if someone were willing, for example, to exchange dollars for an email, a text message or DM would politicians and bankers try to legislate for the control of messages?
Bitcoin is code, it is the exchange of information. The fact it is viewed as having value is a function of the free market.
Can politicians and bankers control the perception of value?
