They are scared, that's why they keep repeating "we are not going anywhere" like a self-soothing lullaby.

This is why they keep committing more brutal crimes against humanity, like tensing their feet on the landmine to make sure it doesn't relax too much.

Their demise is inevitable, and deserved.

The one thing that never happened in these lands, in 1000s of years of shifting powers, is mercy for falling elites. This is not Ireland, this is not South Africa, this is not Germany.

Minorities may survive here, but the defeated masters never live to try again.
