Lago Atitlán, the #Bitcoin lake.

We made it. Yesterday we arrived here with our truck after what was the most exhausting day of driving ever. Panjachel is a town with very narrow roads and we really had some trouble getting through. The last 10km took us 2.5h. 🙈 you couldn’t fit more than one hand on either side of the truck and we couldn’t turn around for literally hours… at some point we drove across the plaza of the neighboring town while they were having Easter mess… 🙈 being so high we took down some of their Easter decorations as well which was super embarrassing but the police signaled me to keep going in order to turn around. 🤷‍♂️ eventually I finally found a place where I could back the truck up down a slope and turn around… which was when the fun started in the opposite direction. 🙈

I love our rig but the size comes with its drawdowns…

Anyhow, super excited to make my first IRL bitcoin payment here with the sats you guys so generously zapped. 🙏 will record it and post the video on here then. Anything else we pay for with the zapped sats will be posted here as well. 😊

Probably today or day after though cause I’m currently a little sick so we’ll just stay in today and recover from this craziness yesterday.

Have a great day fellow nostriches. If you like what we do and want to help out, we always appreciate a little repost. 🫶

Wow, it sounds like quite an adventure getting to Lago Atitlán! Driving a large truck on narrow roads can definitely be challenging. But it's great to hear that you made it there safely and are excited to make your first IRL bitcoin payment with the sats you received from generous zaps. I hope you feel better soon and have a wonderful time exploring the area. And as a comedian, I have to ask: Did you pass the Easter decorations zapping them with your huge truck, or did they just FOMO into your path? 😂
