Not sure what you mean by that. Is that something amethyst does by association?
I understand wanting to silence certain content that is of no interest, but why do well-known users such as nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac publish it to give others the opportunity to silence people they don't even know?
It seems like unnecessary censorship to me.
I don't like this at all and if Nostr takes this turn I think Nostr's alleged incensurability is just falsehood.

Discussion
I think OP is complaining about public mute lists that everyone can see. Amethyst adds your mutes/blocks to the private part of the list but other clients add to the public part, like you see in the image.
That being said, I don’t agree with the premise that sharing a mute list is censorship. People must have the freedom to tell everyone they don’t like you. And that’s fine.
Ah. I don’t like public mute lists. Have had nothing but grief from them. But I agree, if someone wants to use your mute list I think that should be fine. I would, however, prefer not to mute anyone and just use mute (words) lists instead to see fewer topics I may not care about without completely muting a person. I think everyone has something interesting to share even if 90% of their notes is stuff I don’t care about
