Linux gaming has come a long long way. I think there's absolutely no reason to stick to windows anymore.

Unfortunately VR still
If you've installed nvidia drivers well enough you can get steamVR to work and use ALVR streamer to get VR stuff working as well. Will post about the setup once I have it working.
Interesting. Hours of troubleshooting in my experience with Nvidia on Linux though so I moved to AMD. Glad it's moving along though.
