i can't think of an exception to this rule

I use a paynym as an online identity. It was the easiest way to do this before nostr.

I liked the idea that anyone could pay me using +softmountain942 and I could verify my identity by telling the sender the amount, but only those two people know this information.

Besides, it's kinda cool Satoshi remains a nym. I try to do the same as an homage, but I know your opinion is more popular.
