Our hound did the same thing. Then as soon as he hit the crusty deep snow, they just got ripped off, losing two of them that we luckily retrieved in the spring, since they cost an arm and a leg. Now my wife wants to test a model that are even more onerous to put on, with straps that go up over the haunches and shoulders. They look ridiculous lol
