I just downloaded it to fuck around and , unsurprisingly, there’s no one to talk to out in rural Vermont but I’m excited to try it elsewhere

Yeah that’s a great usecase, I think. From a security perspective, though, I wonder whether a malicious actor could trace the BT signal back to a user’s location? Before using it in a very public setting I’d want to have that answered definitively

I would love to, but we’re not in Bluetooth range unfortunately
I saw in the introduction that it is possible to use Bluetooth relay to extend the range of the local Bluetooth. It is possible to send messages to further places. It seems that there is no Bluetooth connection between us. I don't know if the relay must be Bluetooth, or if it can be a nostr relay.
I heard this too but I don’t know enough about how it works. Would be cool to test with someone further than Bluetooth range
