A newer, faster wifi standard. Though, there is 7 already, but those devices are pretty pricey and not many consumer devices support 7 yet as far as I know.

Yes. 100%. My thinkpad has a 6e Intel WiFi card, and the iPhone 15 supports it. Fucking epic on gigabit+ internet, or local lan transfers.

I forget my speed addiction is a problem and not something everyone has. Seriously though, 6e is the shit, but pay attention to MIMO capabilities if you have a bunch of clients though.

Most of my time on 6e is with Ubi’s enterprise AP. It flies.
