We were beyond blessed to be able to add a small #garden this year to a property a mile away. This plot was rock hard and bone dry with nothing growing in June when we started. Couldn’t dig deeper than an inch with a stick. In just a few months it’s become a natural paradise zone on this property. Amazing what adding #woodchips, a #diversity of #seeds, hay, water and a little #soil can do. #covercrops in the aisles are getting huge and will provide tons of green manure biomass that we will bury with more wood chips and manure this winter and spring. The deer have taken out every pepper and tomato plant we had planted (hundreds) but didn’t touch the #cannabis and left us some #flowers. This little garden is #wateronly, #nospray, and #notrellis.
