Best bet is to try to find a seed that hasn’t been genetically modified and go from there. Won’t look like your 5 pound, bright red, teflon apples in the store but there’s a reason for that

That sounds good to me, any specific recommendations on finding non gmo?

No clue to be honest. Your best bet would be online. The chances of you finding some in a store like tractor supply are probably pretty low. I think I’ve seen small farms put their heirloom seeds up for sale?

would just experiment, we’ve been lucky creating some wild sweet hybrids and just letting them fill the timber
