It’s quite interesting (and somewhat sad) to see Reddit kill off third party apps, Twitter rate limit to such an absurd degree - making Twitter unusable.

Fear not fellow netizens - this is the way. The way of the internet: the old giving way to the new.

quite sure when both apps started they had similar philosophies— you need people, until you don’t!

Exactly, and when the interesting people leave it all collapses very fast.

hard to imagine that when every head of state, every org communicates through that platform, just like legacy media newspapers etc — they won’t collapse will there
