My long-term ex boyfriend called me bitch; I found it degrading and hated it until I was forced to deal with the lingo because I liked him and he wouldn't stop (he also called black chickens niggans and I laughed, not sure if that was pushed at me or not). My good friend at the time also called me whore because I found it derogatory and incorrect; I never got over this one and also didn't degrade her in retaliation.
