Why are your sources pulling up data from October 2024? Ytd it’s at 61%+

read the whole thing, sources are listed. m2 is current as of January. not picking a fight, but the chart you showed is a little dramatic. also, the commenter who said they are increasing money supply to undercut dollar doesnt understand how an offshore pegged currency works.

M1s drastic increase overnight will have inflationary repercussions, that’s what this post is all about, hence my initial shock. I haven’t mentioned M2 but I’ll read into your sources. The way I understand, there’s more circulating money chasing a finite amount of goods, no?

no problem friend, but everyone should realize that china has two currencies, an internal and an offshore. so the analysis is more complex. how they account for their money supply is problematic. i will continue to research. have a good day.
