Most journalists have an overinflated sense of self importance. It used to be justified because there was way more investigative journalism, now it's just repeating talking points with an agenda and click bait headlines for ad dollars. They also mainly come from similar rich backgrounds and never had to worry about crap a day in their lives so they're completely entrenched on the pedestals of higher liberal arts education.
