After multiple convos yesterday and being up in my feels last night, I wrote this and posting here bc no one really reads π
Yes, I'm kind. But I think more than that, I'm willing and try to see the humanity in other people even when they look nothing like me. As Ram Dass says, they're God* in drag. It also brings up that saying, but for the grace of God* there go I. We're all dealt hands. Some of our hands really suck. Some are smart enough to think their way out of a shitty hand. Some are not. Some are stuck in cycles outside of their control. Some went to war for the petrodollar and literally had their brains damaged. Realizing that your hand isn't everyone's and some people can't cope with what they were dealt....and it's kinda luck of the draw depending on your beliefs about how we all got here.
So when something in you reacts to another person, slow down enough to get curious about what that reaction is and maybe *just maybe* they're reminding you of something that you don't want to see in yourself or some part of you that you silenced or some part of you that's buried underneath anger so you don't have to feel long enough to cry. Maybe.
Moving forward, we all need the skill of seeing each other's humanity and pausing before responding (as opposed to just reacting). It's a skill you can create. It doesn't come natural to anyone so if you're excusing yourself saying I'm not good at that, stop. None of us are born that way. We WORK to get that way.
I know for a fact that #bitcoin ers understand work and are not afraid of it π§‘
If we wanna make it heaven down here, we *need* every single one who believes in Bitcoin the protocol, regardless of other differences.
Respond to everyone with that as your truth and see how it landsπ«Ά
*Substitute with what aligns with your beliefs. I believe if there are 50 people in a room, there are 50 relationships with how the world works (God or otherwise) in there because it's such a personal relationship but that's me, do youπ
