The solution here is polls based on reaction kinds. But so far clients are loathe to implement the ability for users to pick their reaction and instead force +/♥️, and 🤙and don't even support -

Still surprising that only Facebook, Twitter spaces, Nostr Nests, Reddit, Discord, Telegram implemented reaction types but no Nostr client does it yet.

I want upvote and downvote.
