The people who went to public schools in developed countries. Not middle class or poor. Not the people who are oppressed or in extreme situations. But those who are comfortable with inflation and are non the wiser. They're slightly less educated than what society would consider as middle class.. are struggling to know their reasons for taking Bitcoin seriously.

I struggle to make these people understand how Bitcoin benefits them because they don't think they need it. What am I missing?

= Preach where it matters 🙃

Okay. Got you.

They think they are well in place within their abilities and don’t dream for more. The human also fears a lot the unknown.

Easiest way for me to get them onto the train is saying „Hey, you know at least educate yourself a little bit on the topic, because it’s important for the future finance world order.“

Then they check it out and come back with questions and a bad custodial wallet. Then it’s time to give them keys to Nostr. (Please read the last phrase with the voice of Gandalf)

The problem I face when I talk to to then is as soon as I mention the word money they shut off. It's like they think.. oh I'm happy jumping on my hamster wheel and carrying on living pay check to pay check because they're comfortable being uncomfortable every month. In their mind theirs only one way to survive (not thrive) and mentioning another option alienates them. My approach isn't even toxic either .. I just say "you're working so hard for little to no reward at all - doesn't make you feel silly?"

You are doing it excellent. Just the way it is supposed to be done! Are you from the US? I imagine it’s even harder there, because consumism, credit cards and having several jobs is pretty normal over there… and people think it’s alright.

I'm from England, UK. Most know there's a problem but just accept it as normal.

Yes this is a YUGE barrier of entry - an “educated” mass middle class dumbness is real globally!

I see the middle class as people who atleast own some assets like a home. Maybe 'smart' enough to own some stocks for example and eat dinner round the table, not in front of the TV😂. The people I'm talking about are renting, get minimum wage, or with some income doing cash in hand work. Like lower class but managing(struggling). They think of Bitcoin as either too expensive or it completely alienates them.
