#Amethyst has an option to request deletion of my drafts (that I didn't even choose to save). Who am I sending a request to? This implies that someone else is storing what I type even when I explicitly chose not to share it.

This "feature" is making me consider not using Amethyst anymore. And if it becomes standard everywhere then I'm probably just done with #Nostr. This is so fucking invasive and I don't want it.

It would be different if I was asked and had to explicitly save the draft. But I've never been asked and only found out this was happening while in the settings for something unrelated.

Drafts are sent to your relays, encrypted just like a DM to yourself, so you can continue working on your draft in other clients.

The nature of nostr makes deleting stuff difficult. That's why you request a deletion. The same with every other type of content on nostr, not just drafts. These drafts are encrypted by the way.

Amethyst has a lot of these "features", consider using a leaner client.

If you use Amethyst with an external signer like Amber you could revoke the permission to sign content you don't want to publish.
