Paid relays are the ultimate solution to spam issues imo, and they're so ridiculously inexpensive right now that there's no reason not to support them. But that's my personal choice. You make yours. #[1]
atm paid relays need people using bitcoin ... if this is the future, nostr is way ahead of its time as non-crypto-people won't start using btc tommorrow just to connect to a social network, it will limit the growth of nostr at one point: when all the coiners are here.
