You have to remember core devs and or anybody working on open source would love to work for more money. These people are so smart that they could go work at FAANG and make $300k/annum but they are not. Just because they are not, doesn't mean they don't want the money. Funding for open source devs is hard to come by, help them out as much as you can.

Furthermore, from the angle of passionate Bitcoin devs who are NOT YET able to work on Bitcoin full time because it would not allow them to secure their families like slaveing in the fiat mine does.
- there's probably a 10x bigger pool of these than the pool of the devs we are fortunate to already have on the project.
