If you have a COLDCARD give the securely notes and password feature a whirl.

It this just for the Q, or mk4 also?

I think it's just for the Q. Love the feature, changes my relationship with the coldcard.

I hope this is also a Mk3 feature. If that version isn’t being supported, that’s a big no-no.

I used (paid) lastpass for years (its not great)

last year I started using (free) bitwarden and I love it. The iOS extension is great, works on android and of course the desktop and browser extensions are intuitive and easy to use.

Thats a strong endorsement because I use so many different devices and privacy browsers that usually it struggles on one or two of them.

👊🏻🧡🍻

Is there a free version of lastpass ? I was using Proton Pass but I stupidly deleted my account because I wasn't using the email lol but forgot about the password manager

Use Keepass that is synced over Nextcloud, Google Drive, etc.

Don't use last pass or other cloud shit, you don't have control

Yeah but the free version limits the number if devices you can have it on.

—trust me, there are a hundred better options than lastpass.

They’re one of the worst these days. Still better than nothing.

I may just create a new proton account

I pay and use a bunch of proton products. Good company. Never tried the pw manager tho.

OMG there password manager is phenomenal it just works so smooth with the app and extension in the browser

Which one?

Proton

Why would you trust Btrwarden with your data? You don't have control as you would with keepass or Nextcloud Password Manager

Thanks so much

Unfortunately it's a bit buggy. I can't buy bitcoin, it crashes with an error message :-(

trusting your passwords to a third person/party is unwise, no matter how much they promise is e2e encrypted, you are trusting they are honest, which is not smart.

use keepass or any other self hosted solution like yubico for added security, depends on your risk level

oh, and keepass has a browser extension and desktop app too. it even includes am OTP built in the desktop app

Been using Bitwarden for quite awhile with no complaints.

Oh Awesome 👍🏼, I had a bitwarden account and I totally forgot my password
