Are most people's lightning setup a static amount of SATs in a reusable invoice that doesnt' expire?
Im hoping to have a lightning payment link that never expires and accepts any amount of sats.
What can we do?
LNBits supports this but apps like strike and cash app don't understand the invoice type.
What do you mean? Like how do we receive zaps? For them you just need a wallet which supports lightning address. I would recommend to use wallet of satoshi
Wallet of Satoshi does what I was looking for.
I was hoping to be able to receive directly to my lightning node on umbrel but it doesn’t seem to work.
Not sure if it’s bugs with LNbits, lack of support in wallets or maybe I’m confused about which Lightning features allow us to have a reusable invoice for any amount.

I used the default Lightning invoice presented by wallet of Satoshi.
The zap button on nostr allows you to specify a custom amount.
Im not sure yet how the wallet of Satoshi invoice is able to support that. I thought it needed LNURL for that.
If anyone can clarify please do, in the mean time I will go to my ln invoice homework.
