Yeah, I love digging up these types of location and imagining the sense of place. Upstate NY is not too far from where I live so I can get a good sense. Your picture really captivated me.

I almost thought for sure that was an edit. Like, the neck bend/back hunch on the shadow had to have been exaggerated. Incredible luck to have it be rising (practically) from the steam grate. Perspective is everything.
