I looked around on blue sky a little and found an interesting similarity to nostr. A lot of the users are talking about building their own algorithms and how much nicer the people on there are. Very similar to the initial experiences of nostr users. The primary selling point for nostr is zaps. Most people don’t care about censorship resistance. nostr:note1jsz4xvl69gn42am97g9g47tp7zfshyhep8d9jc8q6fnv0yt36uyqfn4rre

Censorship resistance is the main argument
It definitely is but that’s not what most people care about unfortunately
What I find amusing about the creation of blue cry if you are coming from X is the fact that you don't have to read any posts you don't want to. You don't even have to see them.
That crowd which are basically blue sheep that belong to the blue cult and have been raised with safe spaces, even into adulthood on college campuses, either are too stupid to figure that out or are just so naive and believe everything they are fed that Elon is a meany and by being on X they are supporting him so they flee to blue cry.
In the real world not on social media I generally don't hang around all the time with people that don't have my interests because what would be the point. If you don't have anything in common with me.....
But I don't have any issues with talking with someone that doesn't share my opinion on something. Its good to hear other perspectives and maybe hearing that perspective will change my opinion.
But segregating myself is not really something I am a fan of. It is an echo chamber
