Traveling by train in Germany is a nightmare. Decades of stagnation thanks to government intervention. Feels like the whole system is on the brink of collapse. Everyone’s just frustrated. The new normal: there’s no chance of arriving on time or without headaches. Wish me luck.

agruably, it depends on the government (in the end: society). look at switzerland or japan.

with this respect, austria and germany are definetly on the decline.
