there can only be one network per given hash function

if the hardware can adapt to do several, then the most valuable of the networks will end up dominating and squashing out all the small competitors using the same hash function

i was in the trenches with the shitcoins, watching a shitcoin that used SHA256 and Scrypt hashes get hammered repeatedly by mining pools chasing every bit of pump the coin had, and fucking up the timing of the blocks because of its poorly designed difficulty adjustment

you are all being very naive

if your thing is successful it's going to be plagued by attackers
