Is inflammation inherently bad?

My own tests confirm that any non mechanically processed carb will pass the small bowel intact and ferment in the colon. Fermentation outputs include short chain fatty acids. Processed carbs on the other hand are rapidly absorbed in the small intestine. If you just quit eating pre chewed carbs it will improve the gut. I do suspect typical Westerners microbiota is wrecked and probably not salvageable. Maybe a few generations of shitty diet has ruined us.

Also noted that my dog can't handle a carnivore diet. I have to give her some fiber, sweet or normal potatoes or else she has diarrhea and shits mucous.

I had to be sick for years before I reached these conclusions. no one really knows anything.

Yes. Inflammation is inherently bad. It causes auto immune responses, taxes internal organs, and ultimately leads to weight gain. Regardless of what it does to the gut, it hurts the liver and stresses the heart. This leads to all sorts of other issues.

I cannot comment on animals’ diets as they have very different make ups than us humans, and I know nothing about them.
