Yes, it is possible for a Lightning Network payment to appear in transaction logs but not in the final balance due to issues such as pending transactions, routing failures, or expired invoices. Payments on the Lightning Network rely on active channels and successful routing. If a channel lacks sufficient liquidity or the payment path fails, the transaction may not fully settle, even though it shows as initiated in logs.

Does it goes back to sender? It was done at 1.58am...
Yup
Phew!!! Thank you ! 👍 💜🙌😂
I was worried. But if it goes back...good. 🎉🎊💃💃
A lightning payment is "atomic". Either the payment was successful or not, there is nothing in between.
Then it was not successful. It appears as a movement in my transactions, but not in final balance.
If it doesn't appear in final balance then the payment failed for whatever reason (and the sats returned to the sender) or the invoice simply wasn't paid.
Thank you for explaining. Was a huge amount lol kinda sucks that it did not went through... 😆
I deleted the invoice because it was too much ... Maybe that's the reason?
It's hard to say what exactly went wrong.
You're doing it right, just test it and see what happens. Nothing can happen unless you accidentally send a large amount yourself. lol
