May not work for everyone, but simply living in a country where school shootings don’t exist is very easy. Not being able to take care of children’s safety (in school or otherwise) seems to be a problem limited to one first world country and some astonishingly poor countries.

Not sure if it’s true, but saw something that said in America more kids are shot dead than killed in car accidents. That’s extremely hard to believe, especially in a country with so many cars and car accidents, but if true, so sad.
