On my #bitcoin node,

I currently have it doing the IBD onto my 1TB SSD, on the SSD I also have flashed Zorin OS so I can boot from it.

Is it just because of the IBD that the whole thing feels real sluggish?

Or is it needed to flash Linux onto the PC it’s plugged into and then just have the node on the SSD?
