Yes. I'm not cheering for the governments but they create demand for things like Liberation.travel.

I used to work in IT security. After the gdpr and other bullshit junk, we had tons of business, but it was not to improve security, but in order for them to tick boxes.

It was good for business, but it made most of the field completely unattractive to me and I moved to other things. Which was good in the end.

That's why the focus on the problem. Government created a problem that was not there before and people shifted to this strawman problem instead.

Good thing is we will probably never run out of fun and interesting problems to solve.
