With Trump aligning with Putin and the end of U.S. financial and material support for Ukraine’s defense, the idea of using frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine’s military efforts is gaining traction in Europe.

Yesterday, Poland’s Prime Minister stated that the time has come. Over €200 billion in Russian assets remain frozen in Europe, mostly in Belgian banks—a sum greater than the total U.S. contribution over three years of war.
