Anyone remember what happened to the majority of British pensions when BP had their accident in the Gulf of Mexico?

Too bad. When the BP stock dropped as a result of the massive expenses associated with the Deepwater Horizon spill, most of the pension plans in GB were going bankrupt as a result. The British empire is pretty reliant on those dividends from past conquests.
This is not the note I meant to comment on I think. Still, true commentary on the British financial system.
