Nostr fixes this. With it they would not able to modify the content.

Imagine this happening with your AI memory in ChatGPT or Grok. It’s the ultimate in gaslighting because they can change your memory without your knowledge and feed it into your AI chats. Subconscious censorship.

To still be able to use videos and photos as proof in court we new cameras hw with keys.

One thing that strikes me is the generative AI now baked into the camera unit of the pixel 10. That means we can no longer even trust the 'original' image to be real.

Imagine zooming in to a license plate of a car and it just generates a plate it's learned from the internet. This makes pictures useless in courts because you cannot determine if it was generated/altered by AI at all.

It's because of selfies 🀳🏻. I keep turning it off, as it creates catfishing pics. πŸ˜‚

But, it keeps turning itself back on, again.

I've seen videos of phones auto generating the luna surface when people zoom into lightbulbs

This only applies to Google Camera though, right? This isn't baked into the hardware somehow?

As I understood it it's part of the chips inside the camera module now...

Soon they won't ban you, but instead twist your content to their designs.

I can see that podcasters like Ben Davidson and UnchartedX will be needing nostr and decentralized video protocols.

More concerning was the issue that it isn't just using AI to alter video but any text that goes through their systems. How many people upload things to their servers expecting them to be unaltered? Given the dystopian way that the powers that shouldn't be, are clamping down on freedom of speech and expression, we should be very worried that even our words will be twisted without our knowledge and consent. This will kill any trust people have between reader and author - even more worrying is that it is being done by a company that is pushing for Digital Identity to prove authorship of something it know it could change later...
