If spam is a problem, you can always take measures into your own hands and activate WoT relays, using them near exclusively.

For example: If I follow you or one of the profiles that I follow, follows you, you can use my WoT relay at wss://nostrelites.org. It's a large WoT, but should have next to zero spam.

Many other WoT relays exist. Here's a short list of some of them:

Question, if this relay works for me, would I best served to remove the other ones to stay spam free?

To reduce spam it's best to use a combination of paid and WoT relays. For paid, I recommend nostr.wine and for WoT, any of the ones listed above that the owner or one of their followers follows you.

Thanks! Yup, I’ve got nostr.wine — is nos.lol any good? I think it’s one of the default ones I inherited from primal. The name TLD makes me wonder
