It's pretty much solely fedi users. The Nostr crowd have little appreciation for my perspective. "Good vibes only" and such, they don't like hearing about Bitcoin's inherent deflation and privacy problems, or, y'know, the rapid collapse of society and the need for everyone to learn real skills that don't involve computers in any way.

I got that from the couple hours I've spent on there, I'm surprised it doesn't go much deeper and really is just that.
I have a plan to query relays for "interesting" posts by keywords to maybe find where the interesting people are, if there are any. But even now, relays are starting to be encumbered by authentication and identity concerns due to spam, whereas it used to just be a websocket with some very basic JSON frames flying back and forth that anyone could code up in an evening or two.
I follow certain hashtags trying to find interesting content but even then it's usually Bitcoin related.
Really feels like a ghetto here.
I want in on tbis. I bought in wholesale to the idea and potentiality of Nostr. The premise in and of itself is grand. I didn't know about other protocols like it. Let me know. I'm basic ass Jesus.
Deflation is only a problem in fiat economists minds that don't actually understand how anything in real life works. It actually is amazing and only brings prosperity to everyone in the long term by rewarding the savers and encouraging healthy investments.
