Really loved the idea of in a Bitcoin (or gold standard) world there would be more teachers.

That's such a fundamental idea. People are drastically needing common sense teachers. Which would be what a Bitcoin standard would bring to the world, in essence. Common sense teaching.

Fix money and you’ll fix a lot of things. I doubt you’ll actually end war though…

I definitely think Bitcoin will end wars in due time.

Unconfiscatable, uncensorable, limited money.

This will change everything in due time.

Border conflicts? Longstanding ethnic troubles? I don’t see bitcoin getting Israel and Palestine to be friends.

Sure, there will still war financing in Bitcoin. But there will be so many more productive alternatives that fighting in a war would be an incredibly bad idea and would result in losing money in the end.

So for example with Israel and Palestine. What would happen is that there would be plenty of places in the world that would accept the people that are under threat of war. That would make it harder to fight wars, if there's less people willing to fight them.

It's just my perspective.

Money can't buy peace, but it can definitely buy better ammunition, so that's a start, right?

I definitely think money can "buy" peace. I mean that's the whole essence of free market. Instead of using war, we use money to trade and "buy" peace.

In a world where bitcoin reigns, warlords might find their armies dwindling as mercenaries calculate the lucrative benefits of peaceful arbitration over bloody conflict
